DIBELS Math Early Release

Announcing the Continued Availability of DIBELS® Math

The authors of DIBELS at Dynamic Measurement Group are pleased to announce the continued early release of DIBELS Math for research partners for the 2017-2018 school year. DIBELS Math is aligned with the Common Core Standards in Mathematics. DIBELS Math consists of measures of Early Numeracy, Computation, and Concepts and Applications. Preliminary benchmark goals are available for all of the measures.

Progress monitoring materials are available for the Early Numeracy, Computation, and Concepts and Applications measures.

All DIBELS Math Early Release materials will be made available to schools as a download through the DMG website. The early release version of DIBELS Math will remain free for the 2017-2018 school year. Participating schools will need to duplicate the testing materials.

You can download our DIBELS Math Fact Sheet for a printer-friendly overview of DIBELS Math including sample materials.

Sites will have access to brief, free, web-based training videos on administering the DIBELS Math measures. A more in-depth DIBELS Math Essential Workshop and the DIBELS Math Data Interpretation/Mentoring Workshop will be available at the DIBELS Super Institute in July of 2017. Both workshops are also available for onsite training. Those who complete both the Essential workshop and Data Interpretation/Mentor workshop will become DIBELS Math Mentors and receive access to the official DMG training materials, which they can use to train others. Current DIBELS Next Mentors can earn a Math endorsement by attending the Math Essential Workshop. For more information about DIBELS Math training options, please contact us at info@dibels.org.

Participating schools will enter their DIBELS Math data into the DIBELSnet data reporting service. There is no cost for entering DIBELS Math scores for the 2017-2018 school year. If a school also wishes to enter DIBELS reading data into DIBELSnet, the standard cost of $1 per student per year will apply. To sign up for DIBELSnet, visit https://dibels.net/ and click on the purple "Sign Up" button in the lower right-hand corner.
